A 5.0 magnitude quake occurred near Bukid on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The USGS reported a tremor in the region at 23:38 UTC (07:38 local time). The epicenter was approximately 6 km east-southeast of Bukid, at a depth of 55 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.1 event, but later downgraded it to 5.0.
