Update: Earthquake measuring 5.2 hits area close to Balangonan, Philippines on June 8

A 5.2 magnitude quake jolted near Balangonan on Monday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook the region at 00:11 UTC (08:11 local time). It occurred at a depth of 69 km with the epicenter roughly 21 km west-southwest of Balangonan.
