MALORUA, Shefa Province — Tuesday morning, a 5.0 magnitude quake was registered near Port-Vila, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
A tremor rattled the area at 23:10 UTC (10:10 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated roughly 13 km north-northwest of Port-Vila and occurred at a depth of 64 km.
