A 5.0 magnitude quake struck near Mid-Atlantic Ridge on Friday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor jolted the area at 00:49 UTC (23:49 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was south of Mid-Atlantic Ridge and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
