The 7-3 win sealed the series for the Wisconsin Windigo against the Chippewa Steel on Saturday, April 25, 2025.
The result means Wisconsin won in 3-1 games.
The Steel started off strong and took the lead early in the game with Connor Jalbert scoring in the first minute, assisted by Jacob Ligi.
The Windigo’s Mario DiMaggio tied it up 1-1 in the first period, assisted by Wyatt Herres and Hunter Hayes.
The Windigo scored three goals in second period an held the lead 4-1 going in to the second break.
The Steel narrowed the gap to 4-2, only 11 seconds into the third when Jackson Lackas netted one, assisted by Connor Jalbert.
The Steel narrowed the gap again in the third period when Camden Davis found the back of the net, assisted by Jacob Ligi.
Logan Nickolaus made it 5-3 with a goal seven minutes later, assisted by Zachary Cline and Theodore Richardson.
Cashen Naeve also increased the lead to 6-3 with a goal two minutes later, assisted by Alexios Georgaklis.
The Windigo increased the lead to 7-3 with 54 seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Harper Frey, assisted by Logan Nickolaus and Wyatt Herres.
