The Corpus Christi IceRays are well on their way to clinch the series against the Shreveport Mudbugs, after winning 3-1 on Saturday, April 18, 2025.
Corpus Christi leads the series 2-0 and only needs one more win to clinch.
The IceRays took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Carter Krenke. Nikita Konevych assisted.
The Mudbugs tied it up 1-1 in the first period when Andrew Seminara scored, assisted by Ryan Baert and Bryce Boucher.
Stepan Kuznetsov took the lead with a goal late in the third period, assisted by Cooper Conway and Nikita Konevych.
Cody Kempf also made it 3-1 with a goal three minutes later.
