The Anchorage Wolverines are only a win away from clinching the series against the Fairbanks Ice Dogs, after winning 4-1 on Saturday, April 18, 2025.
Anchorage leads the series 2-0 and could clinch the series in the next game.
The Ice Dogs took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Luca Ricciardi. Caden Pendo and Adam Timm assisted.
The Wolverines’ Duke Gentzler tied it up late in the first, assisted by Camden Shasby.
The Wolverines took the lead early in the second period when Cole Christian beat the goalie, assisted by Duke Gentzler and Brock Devlin.
Aaron Vanwie then tallied a goal seven minutes into the period, making the score 3-1. Patrick Tolan and Andrew Karkoc assisted.
The Wolverines increased the lead to 4-1 with 16 seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Daniel Bagnole, assisted by Jack Darby and Brock Devlin.
