A 5.2 magnitude quake was reported near Mid-Indian Ridge Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which hit the area at 23:52 UTC (04:52 local time), was centered near Mid-Indian Ridge. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
