FRESNO COUNTY, CA — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a preliminary 2.2 magnitude quake shook near Toms Place at midday on Sunday.

It was reported that a tremor struck the region at 1:28 p.m. The epicenter was situated roughly 11 miles west-southwest of Toms Place, at a depth of 5 miles.

During the past week, there has been one quake of magnitude 2.5 centered nearby. Prior to this quake, it was recorded close to Toms Place.
