SANTA MARÍA IXHUATÁN, Santa Rosa Department — A 5.0 magnitude quake was registered close to San Juan Tecuaco Thursday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The tremor rattled at 14:38 UTC (08:38 local time), with its epicenter situated approximately 2 km north of San Juan Tecuaco and a depth of 154 km.
