Update: July 4 – 5.4 magnitude earthquake recorded near Tatsugō, Japan

A 5.4 magnitude quake was detected close to Tatsugō Friday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

At 21:29 UTC (06:29 local time), the region was hit by a tremor. The earthquake shook at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter roughly 107 km north-northwest of Tatsugō.
