Update: July 20 – 5.2 magnitude earthquake registered close to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia

A 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 15:44 UTC (02:44 local time). The epicenter was situated roughly 159 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, at a depth of 10 km.
