ALEUTIANS EAST BOROUGH, AK—A 5.7 magnitude quake was reported near Sand Point Thursday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 4:30 a.m. (5:30 p.m. local time), with its epicenter located about 58 miles south-southeast of Sand Point and a depth of 22 miles.
