Wednesday morning, a 7.3 magnitude quake was registered near 2025 Sand Point, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor, which rocked the area at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time), was centered near 2025 Sand Point. It occurred at a depth of 12 miles.
