According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 7.3 magnitude quake occurred close to 2025 Sand Point Wednesday morning.
It was reported that a tremor devastated the region at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time). The epicenter was situated near 2025 Sand Point, at a depth of 12 miles.
