Update: July 13 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake reported near Santiago, Philippines

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.1 magnitude quake struck close to Santiago Sunday morning.

A tremor jolted the area at 17:08 UTC (01:08 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was located roughly 92 km east-southeast of Santiago and occurred at a depth of 32 km.
