FRESNO COUNTY, CA — A preliminary 3.0 magnitude quake was recorded near Toms Place at midday on Sunday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 1:23 p.m. The epicenter was positioned approximately 11 miles west-southwest of Toms Place, at a depth of 5 miles.
