Update: Earthquake measuring 4.0 rattles area close to Olancha, CA on July 13

INYO COUNTY, CA — Sunday morning, a 4.0 magnitude quake was registered near Olancha, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor hit the region at 5:27 a.m. It occurred at a depth of just 0.27 miles with the epicenter situated about 8 miles south-southwest of Olancha.
