Update: Earthquake hits region near Carlsberg Ridge on July 3 – 5.0 magnitude recorded

The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.0 magnitude quake struck near Carlsberg Ridge Thursday night.

At 17:50 UTC (21:50 local time), the area was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake jolted at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter near Carlsberg Ridge.
