The U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 7.3 magnitude quake occurred close to 2025 Sand Point Wednesday morning.

The tremor slammed at 8:37 p.m. (9:37 a.m. local time), with its epicenter located near 2025 Sand Point and a depth of 12 miles.
