PYIN OO LWIN, Mandalay Region—According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.4 magnitude quake occurred near Shwebo Friday afternoon.
The tremor shook the area at 09:30 UTC (16:00 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter located approximately 35 km east-northeast of Shwebo.
