Update: 5.2 magnitude earthquake registered near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Russia on July 20

A 5.2 magnitude quake was detected near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

A tremor shook the area at 07:06 UTC (18:06 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated approximately 129 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
