Update: 5.0 magnitude earthquake rattles close to Sarangani, Philippines on June 24

KEPULAUAN TALAUD REGENCY, North Sulawesi — According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.0 magnitude quake shook close to Sarangani Tuesday afternoon.

It was reported that a tremor struck the region at 06:24 UTC (14:24 local time). The epicenter was located roughly 175 km southeast of Sarangani, at a depth of 58 km.
