Tottenham have gone through a tough spell in the Women’s Super League dam with a run of five successive defeats. But after the 1-1 win against Leicester, things are looking brighter for Tottenham with at least a much longed-for point.

It was however Tottenham’s sixth game in a row without a win.

With four games remaining, in the qualifiers Leicester are in 10th place in the table while Tottenham are in ninth.

The previous meeting between the teams ended in a 1-0 home win for Tottenham in January.

Leicester play Arsenal on 19 April, Manchester City on 26 April and Crystal Palace (away) on 3 May. Tottenham’s next opponents are Aston Villa on 19 April, Liverpool on 26 April and Chelsea (home) on 3 May.
