Sioux Falls Stampede victorious against Lincoln Stars

The Sioux Falls Stampede defeated the Lincoln Stars 4-2 on Friday, March 20, 2025 at Ice Box.

The team took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Brent Solomon. Noah Urness and Reid Varkonyi assisted.

Lefty Markonidis scored late in the second period, assisted by Gio Digiulian.

The Stampede made it 2-1 with a goal from Gennadi Chaly.

The Stampede increased the lead to 3-1 within the first minute when Reid Varkonyi netted one, assisted by Noah Urness and Filip Nordberg.

The Stampede increased the lead to 4-1 with 01.10 remaining of the third period after a goal from Bryce Ingles, assisted by Waylon Esche and Reid Varkonyi.

The Stars narrowed the gap to 4-2 with 19 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Nikolas Young, assisted by Ethan Weber and Kade Kohanski.

The Stars were called for four penalties, while the Stampede received five penalties.
