Sioux Falls Stampede couldn’t stop hard-to-beat Waterloo Black Hawks from winning

The Waterloo Black Hawks and the Sioux Falls Stampede met on Friday, March 27, 2025.

Waterloo came into the game off the back of a run of four successive wins and managed to claim yet another victory. The game finished 5-2.

The team took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Dylan Compton. Kaeden Hawkins and Reid Morich assisted.

The Stampede’s J.j. Monteiro tied it up late in the first, assisted by Bryce Ingles and Austin Baker.

The Stampede took the lead in the very last seconds of the first period, with a goal from Aleksandr Rybakov, assisted by Joseph Mcgraw.

The Black Hawks scored two goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.

Samuel Huck increased the lead to 4-2 with a goal late in the third period.

The Black Hawks increased the lead to 5-2 with 01.14 remaining of the third after a goal from Reid Morich, assisted by Teddy Mallgrave and Bradley Walker.
