Sept. 5: Earthquake measuring 5.2 shakes region close to Sibolga, Indonesia

A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Sibolga on Saturday night, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor, which jolted the area at 14:06 UTC (21:06 local time), was centered about 77 km south-southwest of Sibolga. It occurred at a depth of 92 km.
