KUZ KUNAR, Kunar — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.2 magnitude quake hit near Jalālābād Tuesday afternoon.
The tremor, which jolted the area at 12:29 UTC (16:59 local time), was centered about 33 km east-northeast of Jalālābād. It occurred at a depth of 10 km.
