SAINT-FRANCOIS, Grande-Terre — Monday morning, a 5.2 magnitude quake was recorded near Beauséjour, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 12:46 UTC (08:46 local time), the region was shaken by a tremor. The earthquake struck at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter about 160 km east of Beauséjour.
