CURICÓ PROVINCE, Maule — A 5.0 magnitude quake jolted close to Molina on Monday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 06:59 UTC (03:59 local time), the region was struck by a tremor. The earthquake rattled at a depth of 102 km, with its epicenter approximately 37 km southeast of Molina.
