Thursday evening, a 5.4 magnitude quake was detected close to Yigo Village, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
It was reported that a tremor jolted the region at 10:30 UTC (20:30 local time). The epicenter was located approximately 43 km north-northwest of Yigo Village, at a depth of 151 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.5 event, but later downgraded it to 5.4.
