Seismic activity on Aug. 10: Earthquake close to Pagar Alam, Indonesia reported – magnitude 5.1

A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Pagar Alam around midnight Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 17:08 UTC (00:08 local time). It occurred at a depth of 22 km with the epicenter about 232 km south-southwest of Pagar Alam.
