Update: Earthquake of 5.1 magnitude detected near Reuleuet, Indonesia on Oct. 27

PIDIE REGENCY, Aceh — the U.S. Geological Survey reported that a 5.1 magnitude quake occurred close to Reuleuet Monday morning.

A tremor hit the area at 23:35 UTC (06:35 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated roughly 45 km southwest of Reuleuet and occurred at a depth of 10 km.
