The National Hurricane Center’s 10 p.m. Monday advisory reported that Tropical Storm Hanna is in the Atlantic Ocean, 1,010 miles east-northeast of Bermuda and 1,145 miles west of the Azores. Packing maximum sustained winds of 45 mph, it is tracking to the east-southeast at 14 mph.

“Small intensity fluctuations are forecast during the next couple of days,” analysts stated. They also said “Hanna is likely to become a post-tropical cyclone by the latter part of this week.”
