The game was tied after two periods, but Minnesota Wilderness pulled away in the third to claim a victory on Friday, March 27, 2025.
Minnesota Wilderness’ Lucas Jendek scored the game-winning goal.
The Steel took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Lance Mengel. Austin Boyce and Anthony Preskar assisted.
The Wilderness tied it up 1-1 with a goal from Noah Dziver late in the first, assisted by Jakeb Lynch and River Freeman.
Four goals were scored in the second period, the score being tied at 3-3 going in to the third period.
Lucas Jendek took the lead with a goal in the third period, assisted by Frantisek Netusil and Jakeb Lynch.
