March 25: Earthquake of 5.2 magnitude recorded near Hihifo, Tonga

A 5.2 magnitude quake occurred close to Hihifo on Wednesday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 10:17 UTC (22:17 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 198 km, with its epicenter approximately 80 km west-northwest of Hihifo.
