League leaders Liverpool continue to impress. With a 2-1 win at home against West Ham, Liverpool recorded yet another victory. This means the team has extended their lead in the Premier League and the gap to second placed Arsenal is now 13 points. West Ham are in 17th place in the league.
The Reds took an early lead when Luis Diaz netted after 18 minutes, with an assist by Mohamed Salah, making it 1-0.
West Ham scored after 86 minutes to make the score 1-1.
The deciding goal came, when Virgil van Dijk found the net for the Reds, with an assist by Alexis Mac Allister.
It was West Ham’s fifth game in a row without a win.
The previous outing between the teams ended in a 5-0 away win for Liverpool in December.
Liverpool play Leicester on 19 April, Tottenham on 26 April and Chelsea (away) on 3 May. West Ham’s next opponents are Southampton on 18 April, Brighton on 25 April and Tottenham (home) on 2 May.
