A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Magdalena on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

At 15:34 UTC (23:34 local time), a tremor struck the region at a depth of 10 km, with its epicenter about 30 km southeast of Magdalena.
