Update: June 14 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake detected close to Marihatag, Philippines

A 5.1 magnitude quake shook near Marihatag on Sunday night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 14:08 UTC (22:08 local time), with its epicenter approximately 58 km east-southeast of Marihatag and a depth of 35 km. Seismologists first reported it as a 5.2 event, but later downgraded it to 5.1.
