MAMBERAMO RAYA REGENCY, Papua — A 5.1 magnitude quake occurred near Abepura on Saturday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor shook the area at 08:55 UTC (17:55 local time). It occurred at a depth of 39 km with the epicenter roughly 264 km west of Abepura.
