A 5.0 magnitude quake rattled near Mid-Indian Ridge on Tuesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

The tremor shook the area at 03:17 UTC (08:17 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter of Mid-Indian Ridge.
