According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 5.2 magnitude quake occurred near Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Sunday morning.

The tremor jolted the area at 17:37 UTC (04:37 local time). It occurred at a depth of 10 km with the epicenter situated about 163 km east-southeast of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
