Update: Earthquake measuring 5.1 hits area near Dompu, Indonesia on Jan. 28

DOMPU REGENCY, West Nusa Tenggara — A 5.1 magnitude quake was recorded close to Dompu Wednesday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

A tremor jolted the region at 18:30 UTC (02:30 local time). The earthquake’s epicenter was situated roughly 20 km west-southwest of Dompu and occurred at a depth of 134 km.
