Gateshead’s real estate scene in September witnessed interesting transactions, notably homes that sold below their initial listing prices.

Among the 98 residential properties changing hands, a select few stood out for their significant price differences, offering buyers advantageous deals in the market. Here’s an exclusive look at the top 10 homes that fetched prices notably lower than their initial asking rates.

The homes in the list below concern different types of property: terraced houses, semi-detached houses, detached houses and flats, where the deeds were filed with the Land Registry during the month of September, even if the properties may have been sold earlier.

41 Wealcroft

10. £6950 (5%) below asking – semi-detached house on Wealcroft

With three bedrooms and one bathroom and a C energy efficiency rating, this semi-detached house at Wealcroft in the NE10 postcode area, has been purchased. Originally listed for £139,950, it sold at £133,000 after a 5% reduction in price after it had been on the market for 21 days. The transfer of ownership was completed on 21 August. The home has a living area of 914 sqft and the eventual price per sqft was £146.

This detached house at Dominies Close in the NE39 postcode area has new owners.
