At 8:58 p.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service released an updated fire weather watch valid for Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Lower Colorado River and Colorado River Headwaters.

Winds are forecasted to be southwest 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and relative humidity 9 to 14 percent.

“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” says the NWS.
