Update: Fire weather watch for Little Snake and White River for Tuesday – increased fire danger

The National Weather Service released an updated fire weather watch at 8:58 p.m. on Sunday valid for Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Little Snake and White River.

Residents can expect winds to be west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph and relative humidity 7 to 12 percent.

“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” describes the NWS.

According to the NWS, a fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
