Update: Fire weather watch for Little Snake and White River for Wednesday – enhanced fire threat

The National Weather Service released an updated fire weather watch at 11:53 a.m. on Monday valid for Wednesday between 2 p.m. and 9 p.m. for Little Snake and White River.

Expect winds to be southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph and relative humidity 9 to 14%.

“Fires will catch and spread quickly. Exercise extreme caution with any outdoor burning,” adds the NWS.

According to the NWS, a fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
