An updated fire weather watch was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 10:17 p.m. valid for Tuesday between noon and 10 p.m. for Colorado River Headwaters.

Expect winds to be west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph and relative humidity 6 to 11%.

“Any fire that develops will catch and spread quickly. Outdoor burning is not recommended,” describes the NWS.

A fire weather watch means that critical fire weather conditions are possible. Listen for later forecasts and possible red flag warnings.
