Update: Earthquake measuring 5.0 rattles area close to Klyuchi, Russia on Feb. 3

UST-KAMCHATSKY DISTRICT, Kamchatka Krai — A 5.0 magnitude quake was detected near Klyuchi on Tuesday around midday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

It was reported that a tremor shook the region at 00:33 UTC (12:33 local time). The epicenter was located about 46 km east-southeast of Klyuchi, at a depth of 78 km.
