Update: Seismic activity on Feb. 3 – 5.1 magnitude earthquake close to Indian-Antarctic Ridge detected

Around midnight Tuesday, a 5.1 magnitude quake was reported close to Indian-Antarctic Ridge, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The tremor jolted at 15:38 UTC (00:38 local time), with its epicenter located west of Indian-Antarctic Ridge and a depth of 10 km.
